Judo suits can be sourced yourself from online sources which makes the process affordable and easy. We do not force our own suits on to our members at inflated fees and we will certainly not write students names in permanent marker to make it impossible to pass on or resell as we have seen that other martial art clubs do. We even let our new members to wear other martial art clubs suits until such a time that a Judo suit can be purchased. We sell used suits for £5 when enough has been collected and donated, new belts and tags are included in the grading fee, the club badge is part of the membership package and we regularly provide belts to those who purchase a suit that does not include a belt.
New suits can be purchased via retailers like Amazon and ebay with pre-owned options available on ebay and facebook marketplace. We are always on hand to offer advice and assistance. Those trying Judo for the first time are simply asked to wear suitable clothing such as track suit bottoms and a long sleeve top and are free to do so for the first few Weeks until they are ready to commit to the club and to Judo. White, Blue and Black suits are allowed although it should be noted that clubs that we visit or other clubs events may stipulate that only White suits are allowed.
